If I could turn back time...
Moisturize & conceal
If you put foundation on with moisturizer, your skin will such up the moisture causing the foundation to sink in, magnify your wrinkles and flake off. Makeup that settles into find lines will instantly age you, make sure to apply a smooth base before applying any products.
Next, apply tinted moisturizer (not foundation!) and use concealer to spot treat anywhere that may need a little extra attention.
Lastly, grab your favorite damp beauty blender, in a tapping motion go over your entire skin. This will help the product adhere to your face more naturally.

Show off your bone structure
After years of smiling into a mirror to figure out where the apples of your cheeks actually are, you can now give that a rest. As women age, we lose fat in our faces, so let's take advantage of that. Swap your powder products for creamier ones, to bring back the moisture into your face and give you an airbrushed look. Apply blush along the highest points of your cheekbones to really make them pop.

Get the wide eye effect
As your skin loses elasticity, your eyelids begin to droop (or in my case -- baby, I was born this way). To fake lifted eyes, you need a good lash curler. The curl holds your lashes up and then using mascara, freeze them into place. The idea is that you want to keep everything going up and against gravity.

How to wear eye makeup
Yes, you can wear eye makeup. It's no secret that eyeliner has a magical power for women. Use a small tight brush to apply liner along the bottom lashes, and go with a less harsh color than black. Deep brown or gunmetal will give you a more sophisticated look without the intensity of black. When drawing on the upper lashes, lift the line a bit at the end (you can use a cotton swab for help) to open up the look of your eyes.

Don't skimp on your brows
Fill in your brows for an instant face lift. Over time, like everything else, your brows thin out and tend to droop at the ends. Lift your brows by applying a powder followed by a brow pencil; we like to use a multi-layered approach when it comes to brows to really give them the proper dimension.

Switch to nude lips
This way you can fake a fuller lip. Find a lip liner that matches your natural lip tone. Not in a clown-like way, but very gently, go in and overdraw the bottom lip line and cupid's bow for an instant fuller pout. Add a lipstick color that is something between your natural shade and a berry color. This will really uplevel your natural tone. Top it off with a lip balm or some Vaseline to keep your lips looking full and hydrated.
