Tightlining is a beauty technique that can help you achieve a stunning, eye-popping stare. It's actually called invisible liner or the I'm-not-wearing-any-makeup look. Whether you're a makeup pro or first timer, we all know eyeliner is one of the tougher products to master.

What exactly is tightlining? Tightlining means lining underneath your top lashes & above  your bottom lashes, both in your waterline.

What does it do? It provides more definition to your lashes which helps define your eyes without looking made up. The closer you are to your lash line, the more natural it looks and the more your eyes will really pop.

How do you apply it? I promise, it only looks hard & awkward but in reality, setting yourself up properly is key to nailing this look.

First things first, opt for a waterproof eyeliner or the liner will disappear before you even apply it. I mean we are applying it to our waterline.

Top waterline: Raise your chin and guide your eyes to look downward. Using your index finger, raise your eye upward from the outer corner. Using the other hand, trace along your lashes with your eyeliner pencil. Go over it a few times and stop before you reach the inner corner to prevent your eyes from looking closed. Make sure to apply the liner anywhere you have lashes because the objective is to make your lashes look rich & fuller than they are.

Accentuate your bottom lashes: Too achieve a more intense look, tightline your bottom lash line too. Gently lift your lower lashes downward and use your other hand to fill in the gaps by the lashes using the same eyeliner pencil.

After all of that is done, make sure to clean it up using a cotton swab. Dip it in some makeup remover, run it along your top and bottom lashes to erase any mess you've created.

Don't forget to curl your lashes, apply some black volumizing mascara & you're ready to go!
